Bacunayagua bridge

Visit the Bacunayagua lookout point, the highest bridge of Cuba. 112 meters height. The view around the Yumari valley at the Havana-Matanzas zone is impressive and unforgettable. You can buy handicrafts, cigars, music, paintings, and also enjoy the best Piña Colada over the world. Visit the fishermen's village Puerto Escondido. Visit the pirate's refuge during XVII and XVIII centuries. Visit a local's house where you can buy handmade bags and hats. We also visit the Puerto Escondido camp and grounds near the new gas electric plant. Swimming in one of two natural pools in a cave or beach in the campground, weather permitting. And many other interesting sights.

Hershey town

A beautiful ride along the coast of Santa Cruz region. Visit the electric train station (1919). You will see a town frozen in time, the first American style village in Cuba established in 1917-1918 founded by Mr. Hershey owner of the famous US chocolate, sugar cane factory and refinery and the Hershey's gardens too. You will see all the different houses such as bungalows, chalets and ordinary dwellings built by Mr. Milton Hershey for his employees. Walking tour around downtown.

Jibacoa beach

Visit: Jibacoa beach area « La Puntilla » and « Los Artitas » beaches « La Virgen » cave, peasant's house. Keep in touch with the camping for Cuban's vacation and beautiful natural sites. Visit a Cuban farmer house. Swimming at public beaches, weather permitting. Stops at local bars, restaurants and speciality shops for the locals. During this tour, you will see beautiful places, roads are flat and this would help you to get use to the mopped ride. No highway driving involved.

Santa Cruz town

Founded in 1714. Visit the new district where you will visit the schools, day care center, a new hospital, funeral home and cemetery. Furthermore, see some original areas and the river with local fishermen and their traditional boats. Santa Cruz downtown shows a fort built by the spanish colonization, schools, museum, shops tow boats and much more. Santa Cruz is a large economic town which includes the Havana Rum factory, soft drinks factory, electrical power plant and other local industries. There is a special offer on Sundays, includes a visit to a local catholic church. From 9h00 am. Mass after we will have a tour of Santa Cruz downtown.

Canasí village

Founded in 1738. Tour to the closest village near the resort to appreciate its afrocuban culture. Walking by downtown, shopping, the Catholic church and burial yard. Driving through the countryside. Stop at « Las Palmeras » cafeteria for souvenirs, drinks and just to relax and more.

Matanzas city

The city of the bridges. Population (665,419 inhabitants). Includes a visit to San Pedro church, Bellamar caves, walking tour around downtown, Monserrat chapel, Yumuri valley and the view of Matanzas from Monserrat hill. Also time for shopping and a visit to the central park return trip through the countryside including a stop at Bacunayagua bridge, the highest one in Cuba.

The beaches by East to Havana

Visit and enjoy the Guanabo and Santa Maria beaches. Do not miss the chance to discover the wonders and beauties of one of the best beaches near the Havana city, the capital of Cuba. We will have time to go on the ocean to so some water sports. There will be time to visit a church, downtown, free time to visit the markets and stores at the shopping center. Only 45 minutes drives from the hotel.

Escaleras de Juraco Park

Visit to Escaleras de Juraco park 40 km from the hotel, Juraco town, San Antonio de rio blanco town. The visits include a catholic church built in XVII century, a museum and a cemetery of the town and finish with the visit to the Escaleras Park and a view of the Rio Blanco valley. Driving near the Hershey town. This offer will be only available on the weekend. 6 scooters minimum required.


The Breeze's hotel also offers the opportunity to do a trek in the surrounding mountains. It is not necessary to be in great physical shape, but good shoes are required and plenty of water in summer. You will have a beautiful view of the landscape from the top of the mountain. Afterward, you will walk through Cuban countryside with typical houses. Note that if you have gifts for the Cubans, well, it's time to give!
