Our multimedia files

When creating the first version of our website in 2005, all photos were integrated into the main site. It became very difficult to update the site as new pages must be continuously added.

To fix this problem, we decided to present our photos in albums with the help of the Coppermine software. In this way, we can easily integrate new photos without losing the previous ones. Thus, the nostalgic will still be able to travel in time.

The photos are divided into 36 albums and 19 categories clearly identified for a total of 747 JPEG files (500x375 pixels, 80 Kb). It is not necessary to have special software to browse through this photo site.

Recently, we have added videos in Adobe Flash of our vacations in Jibacoa. Only since the purchase of our Powershot S2 IS camera the quality of our videos has improved significantly.

We also have some photos presented in a panorama format, a composition of several photos combined into a single file using a software or, more recently, into the camera. This assembly is then compiled using Flash to create an interactive panorama with the help of the Pano2VR software from Garden Gnome. The result is interesting!
