Driving west on the scenic Via Blanca costal road, you’ll reach the beaches east of Havana. They are approximately 45 minutes’ drive from Playa Jibacoa. The "Playas del Este" extend for about 24 km (15 mi) along the north coast of the Havana Province. They are frequented by both Havanans and tourists. When driving on the Via Blanca along the northern coast of Cuba, from Jibacoa to Havana, here are the towns that you will pass before reaching Havana City: Playa Jibacoa – Santa Cruz del Norte - Boca de Jaruco - Brisas del Mar - Veneciana - Guanabo - Boca Ciega - Santa Maria del Mar - Santa Maria Loma - El Megano - Tarara - Celimar - Bacuranao - Alamar - Cojimar - Havana City. The "Playas del este" are from Brias del Mar to Tarara.
