Travelling from North to South, you will have a brief city tour of Cienfuegos (lunch and one drink inluded). Then drive to the charming colonial city of Trinidad, one of the first township founded by the spaniards in the early 16th century. It has been declared world heritage by UNESCO.

City tour and lodging at Topes de Collantes. Dinner un a typical restaurant (one drink included). Truck tour and hiking through the mountains up to the « El Ricio » waterfalls. Lunch in a countryside restaurant (one drink included). Return to your hotel in Varadero or Jibacoa. For adventure and nature lovers, do something out of the ordinary!

We recommand that you bring: Adequate clothes for high and low temperature, adequate shoes for a walk through mountains and a bathing suit.

We did this excursion (which is also offered in Cayo Santa Maria) in 2002 and loved the outdoor experience. Sierra Escambray is simply magnificent!
