History of jibacoacuba.net

This site is in its third generation. The first version was put online in fall 2005. At that time, the format of the site did not allow for changes and additions of new sections without destroying the appearance of the site.

In 2008, I completely changed the format to standardize the site with our other website format (with the integration of scripts, css and library files).

In summer 2010, the version 3 was released, keeping the general appearance of the site, but increasing the font size, window size, adding a photo album using Coppermine and above all .. . with the English version of all pages. Knowing the customers are predominantly English speaking (Canada and England), this change will surely be welcomed!

In this original version, the photos were all incorporated into the site. This does not facilitate updates.

Now they are all integrated into an album outside of the website. The album is updated after each trip to Jibacoa. We love going there in summer for warm water!

Online since October 2011.

The site has been updated with the excursion sections much more detailed than the previous version.
